Google reveals new AdWords features

Google has recently revealed that it’s going to introduce new features including app ads, enterprise tools and much more.

PPC experts from Waseem Saddique Marketing Services in Birmingham say that Google has announced during a live stream event that there will be three key AdWords updates launched in upcoming months.

The features will include new app ads, more insightful reporting and tools that can be used for the measurement of efficiency and scale.

The Vice President of Google AdWords product management Jerry Dischler said “it’s no longer about devices, it’s about connecting people to the content they care about, whether online, mobile sites, or on apps.”

The average consumer looks to solve problems with apps. Google will look at information from features such-as Google Play that results in the most installations and will also suggest keywords to advertisers in order to gain the most app installations. This will then enable users to be targeted based on their behaviour including the apps they use and the frequency of their app usage.

Google has noted that more than 80 percent of downloaded apps are only used once and then are deleted. Ads will begin to include capability to “app deep linking” to drive online users directly to pages in an app encouraging further engagement.

A PPC consultant from Waseem Saddique Marketing Services has said “Conversion measurement for new app ads should be able to provide advertisers more insight to installation, re-engagement and in app purchases.

Tools for efficiency and scale will see Google offer reporting and optimization tools that can provide information strictly through AdWords.
