Google’s expansion on App Indexing

Mobile advertising specialists from Waseem Saddique Marketing Services in Birmingham report on Google’s expansion on App Indexing.

In December 2013, Google started to show content originating from Android apps by including a single link that went directly to the app. This meant users that were searching for specific information were able to view relevant content from those applications.

Google is now expanding the number of apps that are utilizing its search technology by including an additional 24 apps. The new apps will include AOL, The Huffington Post and Pinterest.

App developers and owners will now be given the right to submit their app for consideration, meaning they could potentially promote their content and application more effectively.

SEO experts from Waseem Saddique Marketing Services in Birmingham has said “Now that Google are expanding the number of apps that are being indexed, there will more than likely be a high demand for apps created by leading companies to be involved.”

This app content is only available in English and there has been no specified timescale of how long it will take for this feature to be available in other languages.

A PPC consultant from Waseem Saddique Marketing Services says “App indexing could certainly be the next big step for online advertising especially in terms of Pay Per Click advertising. If Google were to make further expansions then there would be real potential for business using mobile applications in the future.”
